MovieLabs Industry Forum Going from Strength to Strength

One year after its launch, the MovieLabs Industry Forum has reached a major milestone, welcoming over 50 members. The Forum’s growth over its first-year highlights strong and sustained alignment across the media, technology, and creative sectors around the MovieLabs 2030 Vision, the industry’s shared blueprint for connected cloud-native, secure, and interoperable media creation.

Launched in January 2025 by MovieLabs, the Industry Forum was established to provide a collaborative space where studios, technology providers, and creative service companies can work together to turn the 2030 Vision into practical, real-world solutions. and the Industry Forum is actively shaping how the industry builds products, workflows, and services.

Exceeding 50 members in one year shows that the MovieLabs 2030 Vision is not just a concept, it’s a movement,” said Leon Silverman, Chair of the MovieLabs Industry Forum.

This momentum underscores both the global resonance of the 2030 Vision and the industry’s determination to work collaboratively across the full digital media content creation value chain. Members of the Industry Forum represent major studios, tools vendors, cloud service providers, creative service providers, AI companies and systems integrators from across 3 continents.  The MovieLabs Industry Forum therefore has representation from across the ecosystem to effect change and deliver on the ultimate goal – to give creators greater flexibility and efficiency, while freeing up more time and energy for storytelling.
