MovieLabs and Universal Pictures were delighted to host the Hollywood Reception for the Mayor of London’s International Business Programme trade mission in late March. Ten of London’s fasted-growing, innovative creative companies travelled to LA to meet with key corporate and media leaders in LA to discuss partnerships and business opportunities.

The companies that travelled to LA were: Adludio, AI Music, Happy Finish, HoloMe, Lifestyled, miyumi.ai, Nexus Studios, Rotor Videos, Social Life and Together Films.

The event allowed studio technologists and media experts based in LA to meet the visiting companies and learn about their products and services and share information about the business of Hollywood. The innovations offered by the visiting companies covered machine learning for making venues smarter, tools for augmented reality, blockchain for media rights tracking, AI for product and campaign creation as well as music production and social tools for streaming platforms.
